How to send your original ECU file
Read the car, put the file on Dropbox, Drive or MEGA, paste the link. Five megabytes is enough. We do not host dumps on the site.

Read the car, put the full dump on Dropbox, Google Drive or MEGA, and paste the link on the ticket. Five megabytes is enough. We do not host dumps on the site. The cloud link is the file.
The desk writes on the dump you send. A 200 kb snippet, a screenshot of a checksum, or a folder of 4.000 bins is not a full read. If the tool spat out two files on the way in, you already told us which one you wrote last. Send the matching one. Mixing protocols is how a quiet dash becomes a recovery Monday.
Name the file so a person can open it. BMW_320d_2018_EDC17.bin is a brief. final_FINAL3.bin is a shrug. Put the year, the engine if you know it, and the tool in the notes. Restricted Drive links turn a same-day Stage 1 into Thursday. Make the link open without a login if you can.
OBD is fine when the family allows it. Bench or boot is fine when the family needs it. Do not fight a locked ECU on the ramp at 16:40 and then send us half a read. If you cannot get a full file, say so on the ticket before we start the clock. A restricted link is not a full file either.
What belongs on the ticket with the link: year, gearbox (manual, DSG, ZF), fuel, and what is still stock. “Stock intake, stock turbo, stock exhaust, healthy clutch” is useful. “Make it pull” is not. If the car has a known weak point (N47 chain, dual-mass, high-mileage DPF), say so. The engineer reads the notes before the file.
Checksum is your habit, not a checkbox we tick from here. Flash with the same tool that read the car. A file written from an Autotuner read does not owe a Kess protocol a favour. Stable power, a charged booster, ignition where the instructions say ignition. A dying battery in the middle of a write is not a map problem.
Most stock Stage 1 jobs leave the same working day when the dump is complete and the notes are readable. Free account, credits (1 credit = 1 €), original file on the cloud link. We do not remote the laptop in the yard. Circuit and motorsport use only. The workshop briefs the end driver.
Common mistakes: sending a partial read, a restricted link, a folder of generic bins, or no hardware notes. Vague tickets turn same-day into next week. The file follows the dump and the hardware list. Tell us the truth on the ticket. An honest brief is cheaper than a second file.
After you send it. The tuned file comes back the same way: cloud link on the ticket, plus an email when the status moves. Flash it with the same tool. Do not sit at 4.000 rpm in second gear to bed in a remap. That is not a thing. Use the car the way you meant to use the extra torque.
Frequently asked questions. How do I send the original ECU file? Full dump on Dropbox, Drive or MEGA, link on the ticket. Five megabytes is enough. We do not host dumps on the site. What if the tool made two files? Send the one you wrote last. Mixing protocols causes recovery Mondays. What name should the file have? Something a person can open: year, engine, tool. final_FINAL3.bin is not useful. What if I cannot get a full read? Say so on the ticket before we start the clock. A half read is not a full dump. Is this for the public road? No. Every file is for closed-circuit, private track, off-road and motorsport use only.
