Terms and conditions
Last update: 27 August 2026
1. Who we are
ChiptuningLab (chiptuninglab.com) is a credit portal for professional chiptuning files and custom ECU / TCU remaps. Contact: contact@chiptuninglab.com.
2. Motorsport / circuit use only
All files, calibrations and option maps sold through this portal are for closed-circuit, private track, off-road and motorsport use only. They are not certified, type-approved or intended for public roads. You are responsible for local law and for briefing the end driver.
3. Accounts and roles
New accounts are regular users. An administrator may assign admin or engineer roles. You must keep login details confidential.
4. Credits and payments
1 credit = 1 € at the listed pack price. Credits are added after Stripe or PayPal checkout. Credits never expire. They are deducted when you open a file request. Rejected jobs refund charged credits. Pack discounts on 1 000 / 2 500 / 5 000 € packs are shown on the pricing page. Invoices are issued as PDF in the account.
5. Files and cloud storage
We do not host ECU dumps on the portal. You share files via Dropbox, Google Drive or MEGA, maximum 5 MB per file, or you paste a share link. You warrant that you have the right to send the dump. Cloud links you paste are your responsibility.
6. Chat, e-mail and status
Engineers and customers exchange messages on the job. We may also e-mail you on account creation, new messages, status changes (queued, working, revision, ready, rejected) and when a tuned file is ready, if mail is configured.
7. Privacy (GDPR)
We store account data, billing details you enter, job metadata and message text to run the portal. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember language. No advertising cookies. You may ask for access, correction or deletion at contact@chiptuninglab.com. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest in delivering the file service.
8. Liability
Files are delivered as-is for motorsport use. We are not liable for hardware damage, failed flashes, tool errors, or use on public roads. Maximum liability is the credits charged on the affected request.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date on this page is the current version. Continued use of the portal after an update counts as acceptance.
