What to put on a Stage 2 ticket so the file matches the pipe
Stage 2 assumes the engine already breathes better. If the downpipe is still in the van, that is a Stage 1 ticket with a longer story.

The other ticket page is about getting a stock Stage 1 out the same day. This one is about not lying to the map. Stage 2 is written for a freer intake and a downpipe. Flash that file on factory iron and you get a light, a limp, or a customer who still has the old pipe on the floor of the van.
Write what is on the car, not what is on the invoice from March. Downpipe yes or no. Sports cat or open. Intake, intercooler, exhaust past the cat. Fuel: 98 pump, 100, E85 if that is a real tank and not a hope. Turbo still factory or not. If it is not, stop calling it Stage 2 and ask for a quote.
Gearbox belongs on the same note. A DSG that still protects 380 Nm will swallow a Stage 2 engine file and feel lazy in second. Attach the TCU read if you want both. DQ250 is not DQ381. A ZF 8HP in a BMW is not a Mercedes 9G.
Name the dump like a person. BMW_320d_2018_EDC17.bin. Not final_STAGE2_v4.bin. Full file on Dropbox, Drive or MEGA, not a 200 kb snippet and not a restricted link. Year, engine code, gearbox code. ‘Same as the Golf last month’ is not a chassis number.
If you already flashed a Stage 1 last week and the pipe went on this morning, say so on the same ticket. Three revisions sit inside Stage 2 base. They are not a new cart. They are the second sentence after the first drive: knock in fourth at 2.800, or second gear flares. ‘Make it angrier’ still is not a hardware list.
Credits leave when you open the request. Rejected work puts them back. Circuit and motorsport only. A Stage 2 file is not a street ticket. Fill the list once. Then the file can be a file, not a guess.
